getting all new interior
alright guys, i dunno if youve read my posts, but im not sponsered by an interior place. its called Corona Sunroof, and he does the best work in the city. hes gonna do all my interior in my car for a really good price. i paid 175 for headliner and sail panels. that was for tweed, and the headliner has a 3d bowtie on it. hes going to do my seats in black leather and black tweed for 150 for each front seat, and 150 for the back seat. hes gonna throw in the doorpanels with the 450$ im spending for the seats. the door panels are gonna be black tweed with 3d flames, or something completely different that no1 has. so the interor is getting done for less thatn 1000$. he is going to cover all the interior plastics in a fabric, but we havnt decided what kinda fabric, maybe a zebra print or something. what do you guys think?

no zebra.....just say no........... back away from the car
not to sure about tweed either, how about some nice suede that would look nice as an accent to leather seat bolsters.

im not doing suede, its way too fragile, and i dont want it to get messed up. the headliner is tween and so is my armrest, so the interior is getting tweed in other places, im just lookin for other ideas for accents, by the way, the car is red if that matters

there was a post of a car that was done with black and red on the plastics which came out real hot looking. maybe a search will find it or someone knows whos it was.
there was a post of tweed before and it didn;t look that good to me. but it is your car so just my thoughts.

Tweed is deffenitly cool if it is done well, and with the right colors... So far so good... for the plastics, i would stick to black, unless you were going with 2 colors, or a 2 tone look. Then use the other color, and accent the interior panels. Use the "every other" method, meaning as panels join together, make them offset eachother being a differnt color. that usually works well.

thanx for that link. im thinkin that i want my door panels to be black tweed with the black carpet at the bottom rather than all tweed. and my dash pad wont be tweed, there is no reason to cover a mint dash pad....if it was cracked i would cover it, but it isnt so there is no reason.
