Interior Trim pieces?
My plastic interior pieces have carpet on the bottom half of them and i was wondering if you can recover them with vinyl, and what you would use to do so??

Oh ....................thats hideous I say rip it off and do something...............I dont know how well vinyl would stay with nothing to wrap it around you might be able to just take off the carpet clean up the panel and put it back on unless you just have your heart set on vinyl but in that case someone else will have to answer this one.

Yea its absolutely terrible. Im afraid if i tear it off that i wont be able to get the glue off it aswell...also im not sure if the vinyl will look good either? I recovered that sail panel with the vinyl and i already did the top half of my door panels with the same stuff...Anyone have pics of their interiors without that carpet on the bottom?
I have been reading on the Krylon Fusion and wonder if it would even be worth it to me to rip that **** off and paint them black? I'd rather it be grey than have it end up looking half assed 2 years down the road and end up needing to buy new interior peices. Any help with pics and experiences is much appreciated.

The only way i think vinyl will work on those peices and not look bad is if you made some sort of backing material for the vinyl that conforms with the shape of the panel it's for. Cover that peice with vinyl and then glue it to the panel.
