Hawks Seat Covers

Anybody buy a set of theCamaro 87-92 Base Model Seat Covers New Replacement. If so do they have the vinyl on the sides of the buckets like the originals? I know it doesn't have the exact original material but is it close? To anybody who owns them, are they very good quality?

Just buy a set of 4th gen seats. It will be cheaper, look better and less work. Just my opinion.

I have the deluxe cloth replacement covers from Hawk's for my 89 Iroc. Quality is great, material is very close to OE, but not exact. I'm VERY happy with the product.

...not sure about the base model covers.

You can do a search for pics, there are several threads with multiple members pics of Hawk's covers.

Been looking all around for a set for my 88 also. Standard interior with carmine cloth. From what I've seen on the various web sites these covers are all cloth and a fairly lightweigh material. Guess there isn't much interest in this application. Sure would like to find a set in near factory material for mine, really like the heavier tweed like center areas.

The material is rather light weight. I don't think it's a huge quality issue, but I agree that the heavier tweed-like material would be cool.
