power window repair
i replaced the power window motor on the passenger side but i didnt know how to keep the spring on the regulator. well anyway it fell of and we kinda put it on and reinstalled everything. well i rolled up the window and shut the door and the spring just fell off again(was no tension on it i guess) the window rolls up and down the same.
im going to do the driver door in a few days . how am i supposed to lock down the spring?
aslong as my window works fine its good enough for me. its been broken since i bought the car ive never stuck my arm out my driver window. it sucks and thats gona change in a couple days

Did you remove the regulator from the door panel when you replaced the motor? If you did, there is a hole in the regulator arms that you align and put a bolt through to keep them in one position until you put the new motor on and secure it.
