Its possible but it would look well frankly like crap on a thirdgen. it wouldnt be easy at all and also it would be very very expensive! so really if you have a couple grand laying around and your hearts bent on donig it go for it! what ever floats your boat wil be a key term in this thred.

Our hoods are already "Suicide" If you want them to open from the rear, hinge at the front, I would think thats not a bad idea if you want the hood not to just pop up on you. I have seen where people get hardware & hinges from a 89 ish Buick Lesabre, or Park Avinue. From my understanding it works ok on Camaros, but the Firebird nose is straighter in relationsip to the hood, and clearance might be an issue.

suicide hood on our cars are the shizzle, you can reach everything in the back, you're screwed if ya have to work on the front though.

mold the hood and fenders together or get a custom fiberglass front end and make the entire front clip open up, thatd be cool

if things go right...next year ill have my suicide doors in..

they are REALLY expensive to do...and i cant even think about doing it myself..so i have to send it away..

oh well..

the joys of modding cars

as for the hatch...ive seen stuff like that on imports (the shows i enter with my iroc) and the judges absolutely LOVE it...

i think i like the lambo door idea better than suicide. the hatch and hood would be cool. you see the pic of the hatch thay have what looks like air actuated cylinders.

nice mod

here is a really crazy idea...

split the doors in half and have them open like some work vans do. and then have the hood open to the sides maybe. just a wild idea... :lala:

I think that hatch looks good like that. Especially if you do it for the same reason that it appears that guy did. To give a custom "show" edge to it, showing off all of the speakers.
