Got in an accident

Well i had my first accident tonight. totally wasnt my fault. a huge spider jumped in my face out of no where when i was leaving my neighborhood so i swat at it and knock my rearview mirror off and barely hit a car. Mostly scrapes of paint and such but i have 2 dents in my pass side front fender now. Also my rim bent and my tire went flat. i dont know what to do about the tire, but can i fix the fender myself? how much would it cost if i took it somewhere. the cop was a real *******, he even yelled at my mom at which point i got in his face and told him "dont talk to her that way". anyways were filing a report against him tomorrow just had to vent sorry. i just cant believe it all happened so fast. apparently there is over 500 bux worth of damage. i say BS i scratched his car. my car got dented not his. damn SUV's they need to get rid of them all!!!!!!!!

try to remember that cops have the highest divorce rate... there's a reason for that, they deal with un-happy people all day and no one is happy to see them lol... your insurance will see this as your fault (cuz they cant very well make the spider pay up ). They'll probably have to re-paint that whole corner panel for the paint. Your problem will be about the same if you can take out the dents yourself. I found that the hammer/dolly method works well... just dont get overly-zealous when whacking away Have fun with it dude

I know, wasn't that great? I liked the part where he said they should outlaw SUV's. Because, obviously, the SUV was at fault. Maybe they should outlaw spiders.

My question is why would a spider be in your car in the first place, and second, why not come to a complete stop then swat it away

technicly, it was your fault.

hopefully you learned from this... when somthing happens and your driving, doesnt matter if its hot coffee on your lap, dirt in your eyes or "a spider outta nowhere" you need to remain in control of your car until you're out of the way at a full stop.

besides.... it was just a spider.

bahahahahah a huge spider. Must be a web up in your headboard. Have you had the headliner replaced lately? Maybe they should outlaw upholstery shops also.

Sounds like you need to sue the SUV driver, because the crash has left you afflicted with being a slobbering retard.

End yourself.

Totally was your fault. Sorry man.

A huge spider jumping in your face is about as of an excuse as "I sneezed and had to close my eyes".

Unless this spider has full coverage, you are screwed. But I am sure you will be hearing from his family shortly, because you did murder him.

Theres a difference between "fault" and "intention". Clearly is was your fault but you didnt intend to do it.

Ya'll are being really rough on this guy. Did you guys really believe he meant it was the SUV's fault for being there? It was obviously a joke. Lighten up...

I wonder what kind of spider it was. Might have had some daddy long legs all over his face.

Well, I reread the entire first post and I don't see anything that would lead me to think you're joking...

Wasn't my fault was mentioned, cop acted like a jerk, filing a report against him, the SUV comment and it all happened so fast!!! Where's the joke? You also mentioned that you needed to vent!!

Yeah, most cops are real jerks when someone blatantly at fault tries to explain that it wasn't their fault and probably tried blaming the owner of the SUV for parking there. The cops have heard every attempt to pass the blame elsewhere. I'm sure it gets old after say 1000 times.
