4 Point Harness?
I'm looking into getting a 4 point harness for my drivers seat. I have the 2002 SS Seats and was wondering if the harness would work alright. Also, how do I install it? I have a roll bar if that helps. Just need a little info and how to install it. Here is the harness I'm looking at:

didnt look at the link but you will just wrap it around the harness bar for the shoulders and the sides should bolt up to stock locations.. your just gonna have a hard time keeping the belts from slipping to the side unless you cut holes in your seats

here is a picture of my roll bar...now how would I go about adding a 4 point or 5 point harness? I'm just having trouble seeing how it goes in. I want to have a nice clean installation....
Would it look alright if I just got a harness for the drivers seat?....or would it look funny just having 1 harness?

I'm liking the looks of this set-up....https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...t=race+harness
What I'm wanting to do is more for looks....if that makes a difference..

If you are gonna actually wear the belt while driving then you don't wan't to just bolt it to the floor or anywhere else low and run it over the seat. If you are in a crash (even a relatively small one) the harness will compress the spine with any forward motion of the upper body and can cause massive spinal trauma. With the shoulder harness mounted on the floor you will get lot's of forward motion too. read this as meaning a big chance for being permanently injured or even paralized. If you are installing it just for looks then it still isn't a good way unless the look you are going for is the "I didn't know how to do it right" look. Anyone that has a clue will know it's wrong and some one that doesn't have a clue might install theirs like they saw yours installed, thinking it's ok and then find out the hard way that it's not the right way to install a harness. If it is bolted to the floor it must pass over and be supported by a rigid cross bar even with or a little above your shoulders. Better yet just attach it directly to the cross bar. For a correct install you will need to weld or get welded a cross bar into your roll bar at a height within plus or minus 2 inches from your shoulder height when seated in your normal driving position. Try to make it even with your shoulders or slightly higher. You can make the cross bar so it is removable. Here is a bar with a removable crossbar and harness and Here are some basic harness install guide lines You can get great info from THE motorsport safety guys at the SFI Foundation. Here's the SFI seat belt page
