window motor?

window motor?

what should i expect to pay for a window motor and how much to get it done? i don't have the time to play with it and i need my passenger window motor replaced.....

can anyone give me a ball park?

well from JCwhitney the motor is 59.99 http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...X/appId-446942 .Than depending on were u take it i can't see it paying more than 2 HRs. Here in chicago body shops get 42HR so ball park 200 thats prob higher but its ball park

nice....didn't think about that. well i can remove the pannel and make everything quickly accessable. since the car will not be leaving my sight they'll have to find some pretty unique ways to use up a few hours as with the right tools and most of the thing clearly accessable i can't imagine someone who knows what they are doing taking much more then an hour.

They used to be about 40 or so on ebay but was lookin last night and now some people sell em for 20.00

I have heard the motor for the hatch power down is the same as the window motor...is this correct??

kandy, once again, you're car is immaculate, congrats on the recent chp article, do you want a original gm motor or aftermarket, I work in parts at brown chevrolet and I can get ya a price on a gm motor monday morning when I go into work.

Yeah your car is pretty sweet. I hope one day i can turn them out that nice.And for the window motor them are a pain to put in. I did mine once and i do know what i'm doing and it took me about 21/2 hours everything is rivited .
