Power Door Locks
Gentlemen: Could someone please confirm the removal process for the power door lock switch on an 87 GTA. Does this just entail removal of the plastic fascia on the door panel or does the entire panel have to be removed to access the switch?
Answer Appreciated,

which door panel do you have. If its the basic one.
You remove the torx screws, the metal ones that would be the ones further away from the hinge of the door. The square that the locks are on that is. and then tilt it forward and slide it out. Then you are set The other two torx screws are fake dont try to turn them.
The square then comes out and you can dissconnect the wires and remove the switch from the panel. Install in reverse.

Door Locks Cont'd
Hi, thanks for your reply. Mine is like a deluxe version with a grey plastic fascia over the door handle and lock switches. Under the Firebird monogram cover plate, there is one torque screw and under the door handle, there is a circular cover plate as well. I just don't want to go ripping everything up if it's unnecessary to remove the fascia.
