Halo/indiglo gauge install ?'s
Ok, I bought these, and I have no idea how to install them! First, they say that you do not have to take the needles off. But, I can't seem to get them on there! I'd have to bend the gauge faces... but it says if you bend them they can overheat and cause a fire!
Secondly, the directions (universal) say to re-use the stock gauge screws. Well, there are none! How do I affix these?
And, I guess I have to cut a notch in my gauge faces to accomidate the black connector on the indiglo ones, as I can't bend those either!
Anyone go through this yet?

I hate putting those things on, the ones ive installed for friends you have to take the needles off, but I have seen the ones you don't. First if you end up taking the needles off do this turn on your ignition, take a picture if you have a digital or wright down exactly where the needles are. Then crank the car note where the idle is and where the needles are. This will help you if you end up a little off on putting them back on.
I beleive you will have to bend them a little to install but check with the companie you bought them from. Just don't crease them, and make sure they are flat when done.
Not much help here but got you a free to the top

You will have to bend them a little bit. But it won't be very much and I highly doubt that it will cause any problems. Just don't crease them like aviator says.
Your stock screwes are there.. you just can't see them. Trust me, when I did my macewean guage swap on my Camaro, you can't see the screws either. You will notice them when you pull your cluster out.

The only screws are on the speedo. I ended up using 2-sided tape to put mine on.

ebay actually! Not an easy install though... took a lot of measuring, gluing, and some cutting. And I still haven't fixed my speedometer cable!!!
