i'm talking about the rocker and door pieces

say if i put them in place and drilled the holes in the right locations, would i be able to make it work?

I had one on my driver door which rotted, and it sags considerably. The pieces can be found relatively inexpensively at a wrecking yard, or through YearOne. I haven't looked at GM's goodmark brand for these pieces, but as mentioned, you can fabricate something fairly easily.
