First paint job...already have it primered

I just finshed primering my 84 Z, and now I'm wondering how much is it gonna kill the paint job if I can't paint it for another 3 months? I've heard that you shouldn't wait no longer than a week before you paint over the primer.

I've heard allowing the primer to set gives way for moisture to get in?

So, tell me how bad would it be, and is there a way around it without having to sand the primer down a lot again and redoing it?

Also, within the next 3 months should I just not wash the outside of my car or what?

btw...this is my daily driver.

It all depends on what kind of primer you used if you used a 2 part high build primer or epoxy primer you should be fine but if you used lacquar or a self ecth primer then you need to seal it before it rust

Awesome, I was really worried about it because I'm not gonna have money for paint for a little bit and I still wanna get new weather stripping on the doors and I need door hinges.

And yes I used a 2K primer...Nason 421-19 2K Urethane Primer
