well my speedometer no long works correctly... if i'm doing 30mph it will bounce from 27mph-34mph the needle won't hold steady at any speed.. after about 2 hours i go the damn gauges out and i don't know waht to do with the speedo??? i don't really see anything to grease?? any one have ANY idea's on what i can doo??

i've been looking for a place to buy a speedo but i can't find one..

i drive an 83 camaro but it's not the original 85mph speedo it's a 140mph Z28 speedo gauge, the first owner replaced it.. anyone know where i can buy new gauges i've been thinking to switching to white face gauges but i just dont want the inserts..

I have the same problem too and was just going to put a post up about it. The needle just won't stay even, it bounces around and I have no clue how fast i'm going. Anyone know how we can make them not bounce around? Do they need to be tightened or something?

Welcome to the world of cable-driven speedometers! lol j/k

You might need a new cable for it (between gauge and tranny), as it might have lost all the lubrication in it. Worked for me!

Well, if you drive up on ramps it isn't too bad. I think that re-attaching it to the cluster is that hardest part!
