Buyer's Remorse?
I apologize in advance if this is not proper location. I am in a serious bind here and am looking for some advice. If anyone has ANY response to this, please PM me. I figure you guys might know more about this stuff than someone else.
I bought a used 2000 Dodge Dakota (I hate Chryslers but the wife liked it). It was warmed up when we test drove it. We bought it on Saturday and on Sunday morning when we went to start it up, it starts knocking when in gear and moving. I have read numerous things stating that this is a fairly common problem... Not only is it embarrassing, its freaking me out. I can't afford payments plus motors. It stops knocking when it gets warmed up and there are no other unusual things about this truck.
Is there any type of "buyer's remorse" solution for a purchase like this?
Again, I'm sorry for the post here, please PM me. My main concern is finding an answer ASAP and the Dodge/Dakota boards are USELESS.

how hard is the knocking? It's unfortunate that all this is not thidgen related, and this thread will probably be locked.. But on your subject, our 96 GrandAm knocks a when it's cold also. and does go away once warmed up. According to GM it's normal.. Though I have never heard of a similar case on a Dodge.
