removing fenders from parts cars
ok so i took off a crack freew scratch free front facia with headlight bar grill and signal lights for 75$ and at the same place i found 2 rust free fenders but not on the same car. im assuming to take off these fenders i need to take off the hood (heavy, hood shocks 4 bolts each side?), front facia (30 odd bolts/plastic clips on and under the car plus need to have a floor jack), wheel well plastic(dunno), and do i have to crank the wheel? this is alot of work. as the wrecker is on a hill, and i have to lug the floorjack up to the top where the camaros are. already did this once. took 3 odd hours to get the crackfree facia off. and im by myself.
they quoted me aprox 125$ canadian for 2 fenders. so thats about 63$ each. is this a good price? its alot of work.

around $50 is normal price around here. and yes it does take forever to pull these fenders off. otherwise just start wacking bolts, or look for cars with the nose already off that would save some time then.

fenders are a pita, best thing to do is to find one with a screwed up nose rip that off and then take out the 5 bolts under the hood(which can stay on) the wheel well plastics are easy enough to pull the clips out of and trhen you need to take off the gfx to get the last 2 bolts.
your gonna need a 13 mm and a 15 mm ratchet
