15 inch round hole???

15 inch round hole???

Anyone know how can i made a 15 inch round hole in my hood???...i wanna put my air filter tru my hood because my peformer RPM wih the quadrajet spacer wont fit correctly anyone have a hint or a know what tool to use???

i would probably use a compass to draw the circle, then use a jigsaw to cut it out.

15in rim [no tire] and a marker, jig saw with a metal blade. mouth guard left over from football or what ever. Ive cut enough holes in hoods and the vibrating gets nuts.

I would use an airsaw,, its smaller yet effective. but requires air.

Ok thnx its good idea!! i heard about using a dremel tools!!! i think that's a good idea!! i wanna try it it had a little round blade then it wont bent my metal sheet...i think

wow i dont know exactly how thick our hoods are but that might take a hell of a long time with a dremel, i like the other ideas better. I also prefer the look of a square cut out of the hood for the air cleaner it just looks better in my eyes

I've done it with a jig saw and it works perfectly...but my f*king clear were scratch all around...know i try to found a good looking hood scoop until i buy my R.A. I hood...
