How should these stripes be applied?

How far from the center should these be? I just bought them off ebay and i get them tomorrow. Any ideas? And... should i have the stripes on the top of my camaro as well?

Thanks!!

And please, dont tell me if you don't think stripes should go on a camaro. I happen to like them lol

None on the roof! That would look tacky. As far as the placement I think they come with directions. The front one's I think come as one sheet to make installation easier. Maybe the back one's will be one sheet also.

Interesting. Won't that look rather cheap? Just vinyl laid across the car. I don't know, I'd have to see it in person.

I suppose my primary concern would be what long-term adverse effect something like that might have on the paint.

I've seen them b4 on a camaro. My old buddy had some on his car, i thought they were painted on, and he told me they were vinyl stripes. They looked quiet good. I don't think he had them on the top, but the more I think about it, it sounds like a sh*tty thing to do,.. I dunno about the effects on the paint, i hope it doesnt do anything.

You use soapy water and a squeege. They are put on like window tint. Then the sun bakes them on. Thats how the graffix are done on our stock car.

Definitely do so. I didn't mean to sound disparaging about your purchase, those were just a few thoughts that came to mind. I'm curious to see how it comes out.

vinyl can actually look pretty damn good. i forget his name, but someone on these boards did a black vinyl stripe above their driverside wheelwell (cant believe i forget his name). someone help me out, he has a teal car, just got the 5in. rear spoiler. anyway, it looked great, and in a closeup pic it looked painted on. take your time and get it perfect and it can look great

My camaro is laser red and I'am thinkin about putting Black Heritage stripes on it from Autografics.com, they come in a bunch of custom and standard colors. Most are a 7 year viynl. I've purchased other decals from them and they are top notch along with good prices too...I also was wondering how easy these would install and there exact locations?Curious how they look on the rear with the high rise spoiler? Maybe someone can post a pic?
