ok after starting to prep my car for paint i have found alot of rust. the rear wall that the hatch motor bolts t ohas a rust hole the size of a golf ball in it and several other rust spots. both quarter panels have significant rust underneath where the spoiler sits. the spare tire well florr is completely rusted out along with the lower portion of my quarter which was hidden by ground effects. the floor has a rusted out spot about 15 by 15 inches that i poatched with sheet metal but needs to be redone. i know verts are rare but im only 18 and i don't have much mone yat all. how much would i be lookin at to replace all this?

I'm 17, i know how it feels man. You are gonna need to replace the whole rear 1/4 if you want to do to right. New floor pans will be something that you might want to look into. I'm not much for a patch job on floor pans. Probably have to do a lot of sand blasting to find out how much work you really have ahead of you. Check out the bottoms of the cowls. Mine we bother rusted out, and my body was in good shape.. Also check underneath the decklid. It will probably have to come off and be blasted and patched. Start by pulling off your rear bumper cover and gfx. should tell a lot about what needs replaced and what can be fixed..

oh right now i have the bumper, spoiler, gfx, fenders and hood off. the rust on the quarters is in the wheel well, at the bottom where the gfx are. almost the whole quarter under the gfx is rusted. and ontop of the quarter where the vert spoiler sits i also need a trunk lid cuz mines all rusted out.
