Where to buy door top trim

Like the title says does anybody know where to buy new door top trim. Gmpartsdirect says its discontinued and thirdgen resourse wants like 170 for the pair, but as we all know they suck and that price is terrible. I only need the drivers side.

new.. I'm not sure.. but if you can't locate any cood ones at any yards. . Contact Dave at http://members.***.net/iroczdave1/index.htm

He can get one for you.. and it'll not cost ya much.. I get all my parts from him.. it's cheaper for me to ship it form CA to canada and the shipping + the part is still cheaper than the Camaro carts sources here.

I have seen some on ebay that were new and used. Check hawks or thirdgen out. I happened to score a new set on ebay for $60.00.

My local GM dealer had them for $37... took two tries to get the right piece though. Second time I took the whole t-top in and showed them what part I needed.

Looks like I'm too late though :/

Ya they are way to expensive for what they are, and next to impossible to get off without breaking the plastic nipples on the back side. But you got to do what you gotta do, to keep your ride looking sweet now dont ya kandy.

Is this the part you're talking about? If so I got it for $37 from my local GM dealership.

Yes.. they are expensive.. no, there are no repo's that i know of. After haggling at the dealer (since newgmparts.direct sells for collision price) I got the 'wholesale' price instead of list... IIRC mine were roughly $120/pr.
I'm guessing this is the part in question we're talking about...
