i am swaping my 89 rs verts ground effects for the 91-92 style but i have a couple problems, for one, the vert bracing prevents the rear of the rocker ground effets from going on so i had to modify that a little bit. also how does the front chin spoiler mount to the fenders? there are tabs on the gfx but a couple of the tabs that come off are broken off. are the tbas supposed to go through the fenders???

 

there should be cuts in the fenders that allow those tabe to go inside, the there is a clip that goes on that tab once it is on the fender. the tab goes on from inside the fender. I think there is a also a bolt or screw that hold the very end of the GFX to the inner lip of the fender

 

what if one or of the 2 tabs is broken off? what should i do then??? just use one tab or can i fix that?

 

the wose thing that will happen is the side of the GFX wont be flush with the fender. I would just use the other tap and then screw the end to the fender and see what it looks like. If there is a gap then you try making a new tab using some urthene or silicone and a hard piece of plastic.
