How do you remove the hood vents?

The front vents have 2 - 10mm (or maybe 13mm, I forget) thread cutting nuts holding them on and are accessable though the underside of the hood (top image).
The rear 'extractor' vents (lower part if image) are held in place with tension clips and can be pryed out (gently) with a screwdriver. To protect the paint (f needed), wrap the tip of the screwdriver with masking or electrical tape (scotch or duct tape will work too).
