Garbage inside door???
When I first got my IROC I took off my D/S door panel to replace my door lock. At the time, both my doors when shut sounded like there was broken glass in them. I took the first door panel off and there was what looked to be melted plastic in the door itself.
It looked like someone had taken plastic melted it and let it form little clumps.
Any idea what this could be? I doubt the door panel has been off recently if at all before...
Wierd thing is, they are redish and some of the bits look (IIRC) to have the same red color as my car.
Any idea what the hell that is? I'm gonna take off my P/S door panel this weekend and get the other crap out.

When I first got my car, i took off the door panels.... found about 3$ in pennies in the bottom. Yours sounds like maybe an electrical connector broke off, or somehow plastic got sucked between the weatherstripping and window. either way, wouldnt worry too much about it, unless something stops working . At least you dont have a piggy-bank car like mine (also found like 2$ in pennies in the spair tire compartment, and a bunch more under the center console).

The factory used it to fill in small gaps between sheetmetal.
Also I've seen cars that have been I think it's call Zbarted.
Where holes are drilled into varies body panels and a wand with a hole in it is inserted wich sprays out a undercoating type stuff to protect areas where water collects to prevent rust.
Its easy to spot cause you'll have plastic plugs about the size of a dime to fill in the holes. They'll be in your door jams along the top of your rocker panel and on the end of the door itself.
