problem with rear view mirror???
I am sick and tired of never being able to see out my rear view mirror. Let me know if you've got a similar problem:
I can't see out my rear view. Its almost like it sits up to high. I always have to duck to see out of it. Reason being, my overhead console is blocking the view. 2 possiblities that I can think of:
#1: Its the way its supposed to be
#2: Maybe the windshield was replaced and the mirror was not put as low as it was from the factory.
HEL:P!

There are two adjustments, right? One that raises/lowers the entire mirror assembly, another that adjusts the viewing surface. If you've attempted both without success, then repositioning the mirror on the windshield seems your only alternative (not difficult. I used a propane bottle to heat the windshield button for around five seconds. After the glue is heated, you can pull the button off with pliers. Buy a K-Mart glue kit and you're in business).

At least you have a mirror....mine one day just decided to fall off and take a chunk of glass with it. I use to have it propped on my dash and it worked ok there, but then I took a sharp turn with the windows down and it flew right out =/ I need a new windshield anyways because a damn car flung a rock in the freeway and cracked my glass.

Boy do I feel like an idiot. The lower/raise adjustment was stuck. I lowered it, adjusted the actual mirror and it works fine now.
Thanks guys.
