Has anyone messed with a Metallic Black Color?
Im repainting my Pearl Ghost as I call her: 1990 Iroc Z28 Pearl White with a darker pearl flamejob, barely visible unless the sun hits it right or in the shade. She got dented up pretty bad though and replacing a quarter panel, the front Bumper and going to throw a 4 3/4" Cowl Induction Hood on her for cheap from Up22.com But When I get her painted I was wondering how it would look. I want to go with Black with an Irredescant overtone for sun reflect and glare, anyone ever messed with a Pearl/Irredescant Metallic Black on their G-Rides?

Yeah, my car is black with a gold flake in it, single stage paint. custom mixed (I eyeballed it). A medium sized flake. Don't do too much flake, or big flakes, or it'll look like a bass boat.

i've played with a few...silver and gold make the black look a little less clean. colors like blue, purple, red, etc. look sharp though and give the color a slight change of tint at various angles. i really like the red over black myself but each are pretty interesting. the lighter pearls really shine on lighter colors. for instance a gold pearl on a color like orange or even green looks incredible too.
