1982 T-Top latches (can I change to newer style?)
Ok my t-tops have a hook style latch and they have they rattle and squeek like most all t-tops but with this type of latch they seem like it does it more. I would like to have latches like most of them. The tapered shaft that locks into holes, I think they hold better. anyone have any Info on this

You'll need the appropriate tops to go with the pin style latch, obviously. Make sure the latch receptacles match the pin diameter - there are 2 different sizes. Best to get them from the same vehicle.
Remove the A and B pillar black trim pieces, remove the existing latches (I *think* they're held on by two 10mm studs and nuts), and bolt the new ones into place, then adjust for fit.
