poly-fil (insulation) and condensation ?
hello everyone just was thinkin of sound proofing my car some to kep down the rattles and i'm not rich so dynomat n stuffs outta the question.
i do have poly fil like insulation material fomr some old cushions and the foam that is the cushion.
i want to stuff it around the sails were the speakers are for better sound and other places like inside the rear moldings but what i wondered was this...
when it hot then cold outside and the car sweats or moisture builds up n stuff im guessing it would condensate on the inside and get wet or water formed on the inside of the rear 1/4's and other parts.
im wondering if it would condense on the inside and get wet because im worried if it would that the foam and insualtion would draw water and sour n stink like crazy?
anyone else used foam or insualtion againist the exposed metal on the inside ? in the way im talkin about or have probs w/ it?
and sweating?

it may sound dumb, you prolly could put the foam in plastic bags and drop them in. it wouldn't soak up anything. just a thought... pat

duplicolor professional undercoating is what i did my stuff with. it lays down really smooth and then i put fuel-cell like foam in the voids. many roads to go down with things like this. good luck with the project, man. thanks, pat
