Central Locks, Anyone Tried Them?
Has anyone tried
these ?
I tried searching and came up with nothing here. I'm going to be adding power to a non-power door, and these should fit close to the factory location, and I should be able to fabricate a bell-crank type lever to move the lock, rather than have the actuator apply directly. If the tolerance is a little tighter than stock, it will still move enough to activate the system, and still prolong the life of the actuator. Theoretically. Just wondered if anyone has seen or used these, and if anyone had any better ideas on how could be fitted. The best part would be not having to find a place to mount the switch -- you just move your slide **** and the passenger door would unlock, and without the vacuum locks that a lot of true european locks use.

Yeah but what if you are being chased by some psycho killer who is on the passenger side of your car, and you happen to unlock your driver door to get in and drive away and low and behold you unlock both doors letting the guy into your car with you!
But seriously, I would use your locks, and just use their wiring setup if you want to do it.

I've got manual locks -- I was looking into power lock conversions when I found this kit. I know going factory is the most popular, but these seem close to the same size, and what I was talking about would be a similar setup to the factory. I'm asuming the travel length of these actuators is different, so that's why I thought I would need a custom bell-crank lever. I was just wondering I anyone has actually used this or another product from this company. Thanks for the replies.
