help me identify my seats...

I just picked up what i believe is to be a 1988 Iroc Z. (hardtop 5.7 TPI 5spd) I'm bringing it home tomorrow, but i looked inside it today and the seats confused me, i had never seen this style before and i have had many 3rd gen f-bodies and so have my friends. The seats are grey,88 style but the outer edges/bolsters are the leather imitation/vinyl and they have gray cloth inserts(about a 10" squar on the bottom and matching on the seat back). The 3 seats are great condition, but the drivers seats is worn pretty bad so i wanna replace that cover but i can't find a match to it anywhere. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow and hopefully someone can tell me where to get a replacement seat cover.

Sounds like the seats found in the 84 Z28's. The cloth portion is kinda striped and there is vinyl trim on it.

Just get the all cloth replacement covers from Hawks. If you are intent on getting "exact" replacements, get the cloth ones from Hawks (yes they have the striped pattern) and take it to a good upolstry shop to sew in the other material and have them use leather in place of the vinyl.

you could just replace the seats with a nice set of 4th gen seats. I just made the swap and I love them. You can probaly pick up a set for the price to recover the ones you have.

yes, it had an engine swap, 5.0l badging/VIN, but 5.7 on back of block. I am just pulling the drivetrain and swapping it with a auto 5.0L and then i want to sell the car and id like to just try to replace the one seat so i can sell it nice. The drivetrain is going into a 88 iroc convertible with many changes.
