83 function air induction repairs help!!
okay I had a 3" daytona cowl hood on my car(still for sale, I have pics if you want them) when I just bought it and i went tot he boneyard and got another "normal hood" it was a fiberglass 83 hood witht he air induction however there was nothing more then a piece....i have no idea what holding the vent covers over the opening on the underside. ive rigged something to geather for onw to keep the holes closed
BUT
i want to fix it so that it can open and close or at least be adjusted. how do i go about this? couldi by the stuff at an ACE hardware? any help would be great.

A helpful link.
With my TBI on my car I began to give this hood thought and while researching I found this site. http://home.att.net/~ops32cars/transam24.html This guy rigged the flaps in the louvers to work with a toggle switch. Forced induction ON DEMAND! Good luck, Efrain.
