IIRC it's - 4 (DCU color.. not sure if that's right or not) : 2 (DT reducer) : 1 (DCX hardener).
I've slept since I retouched the hood on my camaro so that might not be absolute correct.
Easiest thing to do is to be certain it to call a PPG paint supplier and ask them. Usually that reduction ratios are on the paint container.. unless the label is missing.

I suppose it's 'optional' but, I'm sure there's a reason why the label has the hardener in the mixing ratios.
The hardener is what gives enamel high gloss and durability (thus the name 'wet look' hardener on some enamel adders). Otherwise without, it's just plain enamel.

I used to shoot a lot of Centauri (dupont) enamel using the urethane hardener (I think they call it a crosslinker). The ratio can be fudged a little, and the hardener is a big benefit especially if you want it to dry real fast. As far as the shine goes, you can always do a scuff and buff on it when you're done. Just wait about a week.
