CAMARO ALUMINIUM Fr BUMPER
Never seen one before.Just wondering if anyone has one in there camaro.Found this one at the junk yard.It only weighs 13lbs.Off a 84 0r 86 berlinetta.Car was hauled off B4 i got a chance to check the Rr bumper.

i have heard that they existed, but have never seen one until now. is there a noticable difference from the stock metal one?
i keep throwing around the idea of a tubular chromoly front and rear bumper supports, but that seems pretty extreme for a street car IMO

From what i can tell not much if any diff.Only thing i noticed is there's xtra (small) brackets & theyre all bolted on.Ive also got a firebird alum,but that on is quite different.Also i think the steel one weighs about 23-25lbs.will compare the diff when i swap them.....

i had one on my 84 i found out b4 i parted it and so since i put the 84's nose on the Formula i swapped the aluminum bumper as well i would'nt say it weighs half as much but it is noticably lighter when picking the 2 up.
