Need gauges scan or overlays! GTA only!FROM ITALY!
HI!
I'm from italy!
I would modify the layout of the tachometer and speedometer!
I own a 1989 trans am gta with 220KMH 140MPH tachometer.
I would like to have a nice scan, better if with a ruler near(CM or inch),i would modify the gauge face with the original dial apparence but with an extended reading.
I mean something like 300km/h 180 mph!and 9000 rmp!
I have a friend that can professionally do it but he need the original scan! or the original layer!
He can print directly on a plastic surface, better than original!
Hey the original layer are plastic or what?
It's possible to unscrew the plastic thing from the dial?
What remain? a transparent face?
THANK YOU!
If someone can help me.. please do it!
Better if can someone post or send me directly the layer in metric, not in imperial.. but all it's welcome!
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Unscrew the plastic lens from the cluster using a philips head screwdriver and remove the black plastic overlay underneath that. Then pry off the needles from the gauges you are trying to modify, but only AFTER you mark the original position of the needles with a fine tip marker. Then you need a small-tipped (jewelers or eyeglasses would be best) philips head screwdriver to remove the overlays you are going to modify. Installation is the reverse of removal.
