front bumper cover
the paint is all cracked and chipping on the cover.is it worth the trouble to try and prep it for repainting. What could i do to prep it?
all the paint would have to be removed right? if i replace the bumper cover what can i do so the paint doesnt chip, crack.

I would try and save the bumper cover as long as it's not torn. I had the body shop sand and paint mine and they used a bumper flex additive. I have gotten a couple small paint chips from trucks on the highway and I scraped the chin, but I fixed them with touch up paint. Not much you can do about that though unless you use an ugly car bra
Also the bumper cover isn't the easiest thing to remove.

If you don't have tears in it then it's repairable. You just need to sand and feather the chips. Take a look at the before and after of this nose https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=212762
And that's without a primer and using spray cans. With a little more prep work and the right materials that would look 100% perfect.
