another one bites the dust
Here is an 87 Z28 with 59,000 miles. Hard to believe, isn't it? The body and floor was completely rotted out, dented, and torn up from what looks like multiple accidents and extremely poor maintinance. The seats were like brand new though, but they need a VERY good cleaning. It's a shame what can happen to such a nice car when it's not taken care of.
A guy my dad works with bought it for the engine and trans, and he gave us the rest for free. We stripped it down of anything of value yesterday, and the bone yard is coming to grab it tomorrow hopefully.
And for those of you who are thinking about doing the targa conversion, you need SFC's! I cut out the T-bar to make it a little easier to work in the car, and if I stood in the middle of the car and bounced, I could make it flex about 6"
I only weigh 200 lbs too.

ouch, maybe that accident has something to do with the cobra rims...
I think most of those accidents all go back to the "superman" complex, where someone gets a decently quick car and they think they can drive like they do in F&F without any negative side effects. Oh well, what can you do. More parts for the rest of us eventually, right?

I was gonna ask about that, because it looks like it was crunched from above. My condolances if that was your car johnny, it looks like it was a good one.
