Not Hard at all...
The whole process should only take you an hour at the MOST!
The only thing that you need to do is make sure that the aftermarket wheel is one that has a compatable bolt pattern. Most every aftermarket wheels will fit but double check before you buy it.
Then you'll need to but a universal steering wheel puller from any good autoparts store. (like 23-25 bucks max, and you'll prob use it again!)
Once you have those to, the only thing left to do is pull off the horn cover and horn pad. Now becarful, to remove the pad, unscrew it and hold it off to the side, and then press down on the conection that the wire feeds into, and turn it. Make sure not to let the spring pop out and get lost. Next unbolt the wheel itself, there will be a slip-ring that goes over the center shaft and a nut under that, leaving the mount. Remove all bolt down assys. Then, assy the puller and attach it to the now unbolted mount. and pull the mount off.
To put the new one on, reverse the steps, (except the pulling part of course)! Bolt it all together in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and your done! Remember to test the new steering wheel in the driveway and not on the road! lol
Oh, by the way, if you have an air bag, forget it. suck it up and by that Chiltons or haynes that you should already own and find out the proper way to disable the air bag first. Cause I'm not writing it out here on a chance...
Now I'm sure that I messed up a step in here considering it's 4 am on a saturday and I'm pretty much asleep, so If someone could double check those steps, I'd appreciate it! Thanks and good luck!

When i yanked my airbag steering wheels all i did was disconnect teh battery and pull the sir fuse, then undid the 4 torx bolts from the back of teh wheels and unplugged the bag, then it's the same removal as a regular wheel.
