Anyone else have this???

Well i've noticed that my cars windshield lining is peeling... the thing that goes around the windshield.(see pic) (KAT"S car) it looks awful has anyone had this problem before? or is this just my car? and i was wondering how i can paint that is there any special paint involved or will rattle can black be ok?

On my formy the windshield only has a rubber surround, the hatch has a sheetmetal surround, and I rattle-canned it with dupli-color flat black, it looks good to me.

you can have that weather stripping replaced. Just call up someone that replaced windshields....it's only like $10-$12 bucks for that piece of weather stripping. I had my windshield replaced and I asked the guy about the weather stripping...and that's what he told me

If you are going to replace it, use the 91-92 molding. It is wider and looks better than the smaller molding. IMO

will do... ill see about going this saturday to an Auto Glass spot... see if they can replace it...thanx if not looks like flat black from the can wll have to do
