Krylon Fusion on my interior

I'm working on my interior right now. I've got the arm rest pad done, and it looks pretty damn sweet. Working on the shifter handle now. I'm doing little things for now because its much too cold to be out there for me right now. lol

I did my whole interior with the krylon fusion when I had it apart replacing my t-top headliner and carpet. It looks a lot better than when I started.

I bought a can of the Krylon Fusion but I wasn't the least bit impressed. It didn't lay down as smoothly as I'd like, and was way too glossy. I settled on the SEM interior trim paint. It goes on dull, but a little time with some rubbing compound gets it exactly like the OEM plastic.

Here's a pic of my center console. The upper housing is painted with SEM, the bottom section is the natural plastic. Don't compare it to the rest of the dash, because that's been stripped of all protectant and is off-color.

did you chop up another center console to get that extra space? Damn thats ingenious. I've been looking for a better way to mount a DVD. If thats not what you did, please enlightenme to your methods!

Look on the car audio board. Jim posted most of the details and progress pics.
