Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: Automatic
4th gen console to 3rd gen dash
if you wanted to put just the center console from a 4th gen in a third gen. would the fit togeather fine or would you have to do some work??

don't think it will work on a camaro because the radio opening is part of the center console on the 3rd gen camaro console the forth gen isn't unless for have a firebird on a firebird dash.

a fourth gen center console will fit in just fine if you use a radio pod from a 3rd gen firebird. there is only one easy cut that must be made if you have a manual trans. an auto trans will require quite abit of modification to the console and the shifter plate to make it work. i have a 4th gen console in my firebird. i can get pics and specifics on the cut for a manual trans. i dont know about the auto trans cuts.
