Do Camaros and trans ams have the same doors?
I wanted to know if thirdgen camaros and Trans ams have the same doors on the exterior. I recently noticed that the driver door on my GTA has a manufacturer sticker on it with a VIN which goes to a 1988 camaro with the 305. the sticker also says that the car uses 215 tires. My GTA has 245s and the 350. Is it possible that the previous owner swapped a Camaro door on my GTA?
All the other VIN numbers on the car say that it is a GTA.

The answer is yes. The only difference was in the attached parts (door panel, door ding strip, ground effects etc).

Yeah, they are completely interchangable. I have an 86 TA, and went to the junk yard and got one door off a camaro, and the other door off of another camaro (Mine were rusted to crap). They went on fine, and everything else should all go right back on the same.
