1987 IROC-Z makeover

We are just about ready to start putting the basecoat on our 1987 IROC. I've got pics at http://www.geocities.com/super_saiyan0018

I will post more pics as soon as we are finished.

Thanks to all who post on this site, it is great to have a place to go for answers and opinions. This car is my 15 year old son's, I like driving it so much that I went and bought me an 86 IROC...mid life crisis I guess.lol

yep 87 nice choice haha

Are you ganna be strict with him having it??
That sentence kind of stuck a cord with me,,,,,,you should be strict as I had a 81 firebird as my 1st car at 15 and it took me all of 6months to ditch it because i didnt take the time to get new tires and i hydroplaned in some bad rain I miss that car!!
My cousin Chad is like your son tho,,,at 16 his dad (my uncle) got chads thirdgen Firebird a nice black,,,it was soo nice he had it for like a week or more at school let his g/f drive it and she smoked a poll (pardon the pun). Then my uncle had to paint it again...I mean my cousin worked hard on it too but youngfellas can be smart and still have bad stuff happen to there cars,,,just make sure you trust him but make sure he gets the whole concept of the responsability of owning and careing for a car. I dont mean to tell you how to raise your son (that would be wrong) but i just thought id share my past experiances with yah.
