Well you can fit just about any seats in our cars that you want if you want to do the work! But i think the answer to your question is they just abuot bolt right up you may have to drill a few new holes but i think you can still use the same seat rails

Drill holes?
I think you are confused about something. They are a direct bolt in, no drilling required.

To make the guy feel good, YES, both the front, AND THE REARS of any stock 1982-2002 Camaro AND Firebird are completely interchangable. No drilling, no holes, there are many with it done and many posts about it so that is why the moderators say search and the little bastards that like making fun of people make you feel like a moron for it. Personally, your new, you don't know. I think it's cool.

Will I be able to use a solid rear seat back (from a 4th gen) in place of my split back rear seat in my 88 Iroc? Will I still be able to fold it down then (I have a convertible so the rear seat needs to fold down before I lower the top).
Thanks!
Thanks!

Most GM passenger car seats will bolt in. The only problem with taking seats from another car is that they must physically fit between the console and door. Don't expect some huge 3 foot wide caddy seat to fit :P My front seats are from a late 80's Grand Am GT, but they are the same seats which also came in GTA's. This is also the same seat used in some 4th gen firebirds, only the headrest is different. Note that I had to re-use my 'bird seat racks, as is the case with most seats from other cars (except 4th gens, they bolt right in). As you can see from my bastardized interior, other parts can swap from other cars as well :P
