behind the dash
i am making an extra camaro into a drag car but i want to keep the stock dash and console (its a street legal barely streetable car)
but what all can come out from behind the dash that wont hurt from the supporting of the dash
or should i just yank it apart and find out

Depends on whether you are going to have the hvac operational, the radio kept for looks, and how much work you are looking to put into removing all the extra crap. If you are looking at no hvac (ventilation) and you want to keep the control head to look stock, you can hack out all of the ducting, doors, and actuators for the doors. If you want to lose the radio, you can pull it, pull out the dash pad, and lose all of the speakers and wiring from up there. Also, I would consider somehow blocking off the heater box so the extra air don't get in and bake you and the rest of the car.
