Need an 87 TA rear deck spoiler...

it's THE n00b!!...anyways, I'm looking for a new/used but obviously in good cond. rear deck spoiler for my 87 Trans Am., so that when I get the car repainted in the spring i'm not stuck with the current one which has about a two inch by two and a half inch deep cut on the underside of the rear left of it.

I'm not too keen on spending close to $3 .00 on a new one from GM. I'm located in the 586 & Macomb County area of Michigan but if need be I'll travel up to 50 miles away(or pay shipping!).

Thanks!-Greg
P.S- it DOES NOT have to be painted, it will be repainted anyways!

your best bet would be to get one from one of the sponsors above (I recommend Hawk's). They're fiberglass replacements that weigh less and will give you less trouble in the long run.

Do no buy from a place called Showcars Bodyparts. They make the spoiler too....but I recently recieved a defective spoiler and they refused to do anything about it.

all I know is that if your Hatch supports won't hold your hatch up anymore tear off your factory spoiler and then they work again.

seriously, have you looked at classic industries?

I have a used one off my firebird, it is the euro wing, it is an 87, and if you want it, you can come and get it for free, you just have to come here to Northern IL to get it, I won't ship it. It was a 3 hour drive to Elkart IN from where I live. If you want it email me and put "TransAm Wing" in the subject title.
