If you need the seat tracks then you need to find a way to lose those nuts, heat is always a winner in those cases, just be careful cause yer pretty close to many things that are VERY flammable.
If you just want the seat from the Camaro, well cut the tracks and take the seats out. Just re-use the tracks of your Birdy.
Hope this helps.

I'm guessing since it was given to him and he is pulling the seats its probably a junk car anyway. If its a junk car, there are always bolt cutters

Your best bet is to soak them with Pb blaster or liquid wrech. That will penatrate the threads and lube everyting. Also go nice and easy, loosen the nut slightly and then go back to tighten it some, then loosen it up some more. Doing that will help with removal. What ever you do dont get a bigger wrench unless you want to break a stud off. More torque isnt always the answer.

Oh right
As already said, do the liquid wrench thing, soaking it for a day or even longer should make it alot easier. Just remember, no job is done right if it doesn't involve bolt cutters, a crowbar, an axe, or my favorite the sledgehammer

Axle/Gears: Dont know yet
I had the same problem with my 86 IROC a few months ago. I just used some liquid wrench, let it sit for a few hours and the bolts came undone easily. Mine were rusted pretty good too. Had to get old seats out to put in 99 T/A seats.
