Storing Camaro

Hey guys! Listen i know this may sound stupid but whatever. Im storing my camaro at a buddies house in the woods for the winter. The car is covered and whatnot and i left mothballs in the car to keep mice and animals out of car. Now my question is this: should i block my tailpipes so no little animals such as mice or snakes or anything gets in. B/c that would be disasterous if i were to start my car and have an animal in my muffler! LOL so if anyone has any info or if anyone has ever experenced this.. drop a line on this board! THANK GUYS ! Ryan

I wouldnt worry much about the exhaust. However, I would drain the gas tank, or at least park it on empty. Do a search on google, or on here for 'winterizing' and u should find lots of helpful info. How long will it be sitting?

Why drain the gas? I know in the boat they told me to fill it up for the winter and put some kind of stabalizer in it.

I was told to put stabilizer in the tank and fill it up to the top. THe gas does not allow the tank to rust from the inside out, having it drained invites moisture in and allows it to rust. I have done this for 2 years and had no problems what so ever.

Fill the tank with gas and put stabilizer in it. That's what I do to my Vette in the winter. Also if you can't get to it every few weeks, to start it up and run, I would also disconnect the battery, and put the car up on jack stands.
