but its a miracle i found it.

Well i work at a tire store and was sent to the wearhouse for 2 tires we needed. when i get 1 block from it I see My Iroc at the light. I call 911 and report it then I chased it done with A ford explorer(company truck). followed him for 20mins passing cops weaving through st.louis traffic. called 911 again was pissed by then, made one right turn on Grand then stopped next to it at next light.
What do know he's smoking blunt & bumpn my system. I didnt know what to do so. then a quick left so i followed from right handlane. go one block another left then road signs saying DO NOT ENTER wrong way. flying through at about 45mph in 25 zone.
then another quick turns i lost him.
so i go to wearhouse pick up tires and head back to the shop.
About 3 hours later i get i call from officer valentine saying the found my Car. So then i asked what was damaged and gone.
He said that car was ok except for dent in door already there.
Then he said they were trying to steal my sub box. Then he said that i got jvc cd player. Im thinking were is my Pioneer 9300, he said its in the dash. I asked about amps he said there's three (one really 15 fared cap). so i was so happy he asked if i could get there in 15mins i said no (45 mins) away. Then asked my boss if i could leave and someone drive me. He said clock out I drive you.
He drives a 97 C5 corvette 6 speed, in traffic we made it in 15mins, averaging about 90 MPH. weaving throught traffic so fast I was scared i drive pretty crazy.
When he get to it the special task force for car theft found it and i discovered that i lost my 4channel 600watt plantet audio($340) but still had my 1200watt sub amp($570). Also gained 3 cd plavers(crap) about 50 new rap CDs .
top it all my brand new tires Were smoked in back they are chopped up so bad they feel bumpy on tread.
also left me with a dry tank. (1/2 tank when stolen)
About 350 miles driven on it.(musta got more gas with money he got from my amp.
My stearing column is fubar and keys dont work have to use screwdriver to push ignition pushbar.
At least they caught him but no thanks to berkeley police only St. Louis Special task force.
I left it at my shop for night and probably next few weeks i stay at my girls house in the suburbs.
And my system is going in her caviler.

Hey congrats. My buddies car was vandalized pretty bad but they could not steal it for some reason. they had the whole colum aparts but they were too stupid to get it. How did they get into your car? Did they catch the guy. Since you saw him i assume you gave the cops a description.

Anyways to stay tech, do you have to replace any door locks? How are you going to repair your console.

Man, good to hear that you got your back. Too bad about the bad things done to it, but just remember that it could have been MUCH worse. Anyway, good luck on getting it fixed back up.

Its too bad that most SOB's that steal crap like that arent rich (so you could sue them for damages and trouble, plus some). I think that the law should require them to get jobs like the rest of the normal people, and pay their debt (preferably making $5.75/hour) to you. That would be quite a few hours flipping hamburgers to pay for their ****. It woudlnt be so fun once they realized what it was like to work for stuff.


BTW, I HATE when people steal/vandalize other people's hard earned possessions. That irks me more than anything I can think of.
