ttop question
does anyone know if it is possible to take the hardware from a lockign ttop and switch it into a non locking ttop to make it a locking ttop ?

couldn't you just use the locking top?
or just switch the glass if that's what you're getting at?

Well assuming that the non-locking top hardware is the same dimension as locking sans lock, I just did this (both tops had locks but I wanted the ones that worked with my key
). If you dig down in those tops all of the latch hardware can be pulled out. I took the locking mechanism out of the Lexan tops and put them on the glass ones. The only issue I ran into is that the glass tops that I have had smaller diameter holes for the pins that go into the roof. Got a drill out and enlarged the holes a big bigger than the new pins and voila!
