window squeegie strip?

how do you remove that stupid squeegie thing on the bottom of the window. you know that black strip that rubs against your window when you bring it up or down. mine is all dry rotted and i need to replace it.
Thanks

Gotta remove the door panel, loosen the 2 10mm bolts that hold the window against the outter belt moulding so you can gain access to the 2- 7mm bolts in the center of the door. Just a matter of removing these 7mm bolts and taking it off, then reinstall in reverse.

not necessarily ..depends on which one..the one inside is held onto the back of the door pannel by staples and rivets

Alright, mine was an 86 bird so yours may be different. Once you remove the door panel there are 2 L brackets that force the window out against the belt moulding, you must loosen these 2 bolts so the window is allowed to be pulled in away from the belt moulding-this will allow you to gain access to the 5-7? 7mm bolts that attach the belt moulding to the door itself. Twas the case with my 86 bird.

Mine was 5 phillips head screws that I had to use an L-shaped screwdriver to get in the channel to remove them. Need to remove this also when having you car painted.
