website that shows car paint colors available.
Hi... i've got this color for my car in my mind, but i have NO CLUE what color it is. I saw a **** burner w/ the color, and i was about to have a heart attack that someone actually had the color... It's a very very rare color, and soooo many colors are very close to it, but once you see the actual color, your floored.
So, i'm wondering if anyone has a site that shows different car colors.
It's like a chameleon color, it's purplish and yet blueish, metallicish, and yet electricish, and very glossy, and very just.. amazing to the eyes.
I have no intention of getting it yet(due to i know it's expensive as hello.), but since i'm starting to do work to my car's exterior, thx to the wreck, i mine as well look into it, prime my car, and possibly see about doing a bit of the work myself. Or find the paint before i put down money to have it painted.
Any help or sites would be appreciated, or pix or videos(can't really be shown that well from a pic, due to light contrast) if you think you've got the color right. if i can find the guy w/ the car, i'll ask, but... i only saw the car once, i think nexttime i'll track him down, & ask, rofl.. i don't care if he thinks i'm stalking him.
thanks.

Sound alote to me like the color of the TVR Tuscan, very sexxy color indeed.
Looking for a pic.....can't find one
It's in GT3 A-Spec for the PS2, someone probably knows what I'm talking about.

best pic I could find, you can see the 2 tone by the drivers side fender towards the bottom, not a good pic at all to show off the 2 tone effect but at least you get an idea of that color I imagine.

Here is a website that has OEM paint chips, but if you want a true chameleon paint, its going to run you a few hundred dollars per PINT! It also has to be special ordered because the pigments in it are the same pigments used in US Currency.
Here are the paint chips:

Sounds similar to the paint that BASF produced for the ------ can I really say this??---- Ford Mustang. Check with your local paint supply stores for the one selling the BASF paint line and see if the color you are looking for is the one marketed under their DIAMONT brand. BTW bring your big wallet. anubiscougar, please go to the local BASF dealer there and check their DIAMONT line for the MYSTIC color originally produced for Mustang. I am confident thats what you are lookiing for. You could check the website but you need to see it in person. Dave

I would agree check out BASF although i dont think it is the diamont line. I think it will be the top of the line basf. As far a the camillion stang with the special paint. That particular stang is a svt cobra and you can only get that color of paint if you have one of those cars and it got in a wreck and the basf regional guy will com out and look at it and order you the paint which is very expensive and then basf takes the leftover paint back. Sucks to have a car the same color as camillion in on 20's huh?

If the Mustang is close, but needs more Blue, then try GM's
"Radar Blue Metallic", WA# 9018 and was used on '95 S-10s.
Its purple in one light and blue in another. I have a spray out card from the S-10 I'm working on, but I could never capture its qualities taking a picture of it.

want to have some fun with colors check out hok paint chips got my set off ebay for 14 bucks. sky is the limit with them just no names to go with the colors. the one i am going to use requires one coat of gold base and 5 coats of candy and then 3 coats of clear, the candy is what give the car an actual finished color not a candy accent. they have some incredable original options. very custom.
