hmm pulley?
are you talking about the seat belt assembly itself in the roof?\\if you are you need to take down the head line to get it out. couple of bolts to change it but 20 something screws to remove the head liner

all the plastic trim screws philips heads to take off your a pillar covers dome light, side rear covers where speakers are on a camaro, umm those ones. that surround the head liner. once the head liner is down you can get at all the bolts to replace the seat belt. good time for a new head liner if needed.

I was able to fix mine for nothing....
if you open one side of the assembly youll see the little pin that holds the seat belt back from retracking itself,,I adjusted it so when the seat beat was almost all the way out it pushed the pin out of the way and the big spring pulled the seat belt back in. DO NOT take off the big round spring cover trust me you dont want to!! I also lubed up the unit with some spray silicon.

I, too, have problems..
with mine.. first off, when you pull them out so far, they like..don't retract, they just flap in the breeze.. when you unbuckle, they do not retract, and usually fall outside the door and keep it from closing, and they do NOT lock.. no matter what! slam on the brakes, tug on them as fast and hard as possible..they will not lock up, doesn't make people feel too much safer about driving with me, lol..

Yes mine does the same thing. My husband goes & sticks a screwdriver up there everyonce in a while to get it unstuck then he puts everything back together lol.

ok guys heres the deal its easy undolt it from your roof two bolts...take it down remove the flat square cover on the top(or maybe bottom) (DO NOT REMOVE ROUND CAP ON THE SIDE) Start playing around wth it give it a spray of lube!!!!!!!!! Then play with it more....WATCH VERY CAREFULLY HOW IT WORKS...its soo simple its unbelivable...just that its really hard to explain to you....the more you look at how it works then the more youll be able to adjust and bend the little pin that unlocks the belt and then the big spring wound inside that cap (your not supposed to remove) takes your seat belt in. Now youll have to hold the unit level or you seatbelt will lock and not let you pull it out. Dont worry if you take it down lube it up and adjust it so when the belt is altheway out the little tinny pin will unlock and let the big spring pull your belt back in.
This way after everythings bolted back up all you got to do to get your belt to go tight again is pull it out all the way! Works for me everytime...cost nothing and mine were totaly posessed before!
